The present day trend towards heightened dental esthethics has challenged the competence of the clinican to produce beautiful smile and better appearance .An interdisciplinary approach fot the diagnosis and management of anterior dental esthetics has become the norm of the day.Treatment planning is the key factor for successful esthetic rehabilition.Toothcoloured restorative materials such as composite resin and ceramic have enabled the clinicians to achieve the desired results.The present article describes an interdisciplinary approach in dental diagnosis with emphasis on procedures and materials used,also taking in consideration of restoring the function and biology of the oral structures to achieve esthetric rehabilitation with optimal results.
