Abstract
In this paper fourth order two step Hybrid additive parameters methods for the numerical solution of the general second order differential equations are presented. The methods depend upon the arbitrary parameters p and q which are dependent on the coefficients of y′ and y in the given differential equation. The method is absolutely stable for p2 – 4q < 0. Numerical results are presented for linear and non–linear initial value problems to illustrate the order, accuracy and stability.
