Abstract

A simple, precise and rapid RP-HPLC method was developed for the determination of Granisetron hydrochloride in pharmaceutical formulation. The method was carried out on a phenomenex RP-C18 column using a mixture of methanol and water (75:25). Detection was done at 301 nm. The linearity range was 5 - 1OO.Omcg/mL. The proposed method was statistically validated and successfully applied for analysis of tablet dosage forms. The percentage recovery was found to be between the ranges of 98.81% to 99.30%.
