Abstract
The bond strength between concrete and steel rebar is critical to the performance of reinforced concrete. This bond strength depends on the ingredients in the high performance concrete mixes and also been effected by workability, high modulus of elasticity, high density, strength of the concrete, diameter of the bars, loading age, and the production of the concrete. Numerous formulae’s and test methods has been discussed based on the national and international standards to find the bond strength between concrete and reinforcing rebar’s.
