Abstract

The presence of metastatic malignancy entails a search for the primary tumour. In this study of two very rare cases of metastatic tumors, namely B-cell Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and squamous cell carcinoma, in the thyroid gland, there were two primary sites on further work-up. Neither the true primary site could be delineated by any other method, nor a possibility of synchronous malignancy ruled out.
