Abstract
Digital libraries are the demand of the day. Libraries and information centres are facing challenges due to changes in form of resources and also due to ever increasing demand from the clientele for modern services. Open source sottware can be used to develop the digital libraries. This paper discusses the use of the softwsre "Eprints" in developing the digital library repository at Manipal University. A digital repository is a digital archive of the intellectual product created by the faculty, research scholar and student of an institution. The publications of the faulty of Manipal University is stored in this digital repository. This paper explains In detail the development of MU digital repository.
