Abstract

Nurses like doctors are also assigned with ethical, legal and proffessional duties.Majority of these dutiesare related to confidetiality and autonomy and duty of care that is owed by a nurse to patient.These are mainly professinal duties,which may have legal implications, and when they breached, become legal duties.So also is true that, these are of ethical concern, undoubtedly they become ethical duties. With growing specialization in medicine and specialization in nursing, forensic nursing is been added as new area of specialization
