Abstract
The article discusses the use of the Bone Sounding technique for microimplant placement. One of the challenges of microimplant placement is planning its correct positioning in the bone to achieve proper stability. Bone Sounding is used to acquire understanding of the bone level and thickness of the soft tissue overlying the bone. It uses a periodontal probe to measure the probing depth following local anesthesia administration.
