Abstract

Paleolithic man took shelter in the abode of nature. There lies the beginning of invention of earth architecture. The strength and durability of the existing traditional earthen structures across the world sets the stage for further research in the field. The content of the paper explains the brief details of different indigenous construction techniques followed traditionally in some parts of countries like Africa, Saudi Arabia, Spain and India
