Abstract

Libraries are providing an increasing number of information resources that users can use to fulfill their information needs. To promote user satisfaction, today libraries need to better understand users and their expectations to provide its users with better and fast services. This article provides a particular focus on library user’s expectations from information technology enabled library services. It includes users expectations in remote access of library resources, information availability in one touch, round the clock availability of library services in virtual form, online renewal of library books and payment of dues and online chat service.
