Abstract
The need is for a highly precise, reliable, compact, low cost and low power consumption system is the growing requirement of today's process industries. In this paper an attempt is made to design and monitor temperature of an electrical appliance. Peripheral Interface Control (PIC) microcontroller is used at. transmitter end and PIC modulator is used in the receiver end which displays temperature on a LCD.RF signals are used for achieving the wireless communication over IR signals due to its dvantages.
