We present a case of multiple cysts in the lung developing in a 55-year-old male patient following an infection with pulmonary tuberculosis. Even though post-infective cysts are a common entity, cysts developing as a cause of tuberculosis infection are a rare entity. We emphasise the need to consider tuberculosis as one of the differential diagnosis for acquired cysts of the lung and discuss the mechanisms of cyst formation in tuberculosis.
