Abstract

The paper presents laboratory investigations relating to concreteproducedfrom three different types of cements, namely, fly-ash based blended cement, 43 grade OPC and 53 grade OPC. An attempt has been made to compare different properties likeworkability, setting time, strength, water absorption, etc. ofM 20 andM25 concretes made with three types of cement.Itisconcludedthat the performance of blended cement concrete issuperiorto that the OPC concrete.
