The purpose of this study was to identify and lvcstigate the factors linked to employee motivation and job iisfaction of employees and to assess the role of work motivation employees' performance. The self-report questionnaire survey carried out for a total of 59 engineers in Construction site atrious capacities The responses were formulated based on the Likert :Kale. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version I'J.O was' used for all statistical analysis. Furthermore, Cross Tabs was employed to determine whether there is a difference in the iIlotivation dimensions based on biological factors. Descriptive jlutistics were made for job satisfaction factors, workplace i;; ClInditions,dimension of decision making, compensation (payment), recognition and benefits, promotion and perceived organizational upport. Five hypothesis were formulated and tested. 'Perceived organizational support' was found to be the main motivating factor ill[ cngineering department. Based on the anJ.lysis made, 'Paymentil~pccts' especially sub factor 'extra work done is not rewarded' is the major de-motivating factor.
