The Healthcare telecommunications Services play a vital role in the health care industry. It is important for the customers to know about the types of telecom equipments that are available to them before, during and after they take the healthcare services. This paper discusses various telecom equipments like EPABX systems, videoconferencing systems, security systems, and computerized patient record systems, which are available for use currently, and the ones that are likely to make an impact in the future years. The factors such as comfort, personal attention and time saved by using these facilities are highlighted in this paper. The paper in particular focuses on the EPABX SYSTEM to improve the patients’ care, staff productivity and operational efficiency.
