Abstract

This paper is a reviewed article and has three sections. In the first, we outline the evolution of global wireless technology and networks and discuss the emerging trends. Next, we trace the history of wireless networks in India, policy evolution, and current trends in services. In the third section we survey wireless R&D.(Honeywell-wireless-network)
