These Next-Generation Mobile Netwom: (NGMN) is about the network infrastructure that will enable the provision of existing telecommunications services and innovative applications of next generation. The term NGMN refers to a converged network capable of carrying both voice arid data over the same physical network, with aU traffic (voice and data) carried as IP.The process of realization of NGMN wiD lead to a revolution in the design of telecommunications network architecture, which will result in a change in the way service providers offer their services and the way people communicate. Ultimately, NGMN would phase out the existing legacy networks at a point of time in the future. This paper aims to provide a functional development of Next Generation Mobile Network (NGMNs).
