Abstract

In the travel and tourism industry, intentions to travel is articulated and examined in the scope of trip planning behavior, which is regarded as part of a complex consumer decision-making and behavioral process. Further with media becoming part of our day to day life and with hospitality and tourism organizations using them as a tool to reach out to customers, the travelers planning activity has become a vital study for most of the researchers. In this study efforts are taken to learn the travel behavior of employees working in IT organizations in Bengaluru and their usage of travel media like websites, magazines and travel channels for travel planning.
