Abstract

This paper presents the experimental investigation carried on Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete subjected to repeated loading. For the investigation, SFRC beam specimen of size 500mm x 100mm x 100mm were tested under two point flexural fatigue loading subjected to a frequency of 2Hz at various stress levesl. The specimen incorporated corrugated mixed steel fibers of size 50mm x 2mm x 0.6mm and 0.5mmΦ× 30mm length in different proportions. Prior to the fatigue test, compression strength test, static flexural strength test and split tensile strength tests were also conducted. The readings from the flexural fatigue test were used to plot S-N diagram and also to perform statistical analysis using two parameter Weibull distributions.
