Abstract

A man in his late thirties presented with left-sided chestpain, recurrent fever and cough. Radio graphical studyrevealed left pleural effusion which on ultrasonic imagingwas minimal and non-tappable. Image guided trucutpleural biopsy yielded pleural specimens which helped in confirming the diagnosis of tuberculosis.
