Abstract

This study was a descriptive correlational survey performed to find the stigma and discrimination experienced children living with HIV (CLHIV). The subjects were 50 CLHIV selected using purposive sampling, living in one of the districts of South India attending ART plus centre of Distrcit hospital. Among 50 CLHIV, 23(46.1%) of the belonged to the age group of 16-18 years and 28 (56%) subjects were males. Level of stigma and discrimination was low in majority of the CLHIV(90%).Majority43(86%) of the subjects were found to have low social support.45(90%) samples’ are adherence to ART.
