Abstract
A group of signs and symptoms that occur together and characterize a disease state is termed a syndrome. We describe the case of an 11-year-old girl who presented with features of congenital monocular microphthalmia and blindness, microglossia, hypodontia and mandibular retrognathia with dental malocclusion. These features are representative of a new syndrome. Our understanding of hitherto unknown syndromes is crucial for better multidisciplinary management of such cases in the future.
