Abstract

Execution time is the bottleneck in the case of sequential programming. If an image or audio signal with large number of samples is to be processed, then the sequential programming takes days to complete execution. So, parallel algorithms are used today to improve the computational speed. In this paper an image steganography algorithm is implemented in parallel on GPU systems. Parallel programming is implemented using OpenCL in CUDA cores from NVIDIA. Very good speed up with reasonably good output signal quality is obtained when large amount of data is processed.
