Abstract

In the world of Digital Systems, the demand for high quality, more efficient and less area circuits have been increasing over the years. Because of this the problem of circuit design has become a multi-objective optimization problem. Therefore, there is a need for new methodologies for designing logic circuits. In this paper, an effort is made to design and optimize digital circuits based on Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm. Later the results obtained are compared with one of the conventional methods to validate the design
