Abstract

In this paper, a design technique for computing the observability for a nonlinear system using the concept of change in coordinates and a singular time rescaling is proposed. The objective of the proposed work is to present a characterization of observability and design an observer for switched nonlinear system with state jumps. A necessary and sufficient condition is presented for a global time and a predetermined transition mode of systems. Mehtod-Rachid algorithm is used for computation of transfer function for the given singular switching system. The results of the proposed system shows the obtained transfer function is observable and controllable.
