Abstract

The control of dead time process is a major challenging problem for the last five decades (Since 1957). Here the design of conventional controller is made for the pure integrating process with dead time and their servo and regulatory responses were analyzed. Apart from the various conventional controller design the stability and performance of the controller with uncertainty is discussed with results for the Robust H-infinity controller design. The approach of model free PID controller design was proposed for the unstable process with dead time in the last chapter. The proposed Model free PID Controller , works for all Stable, Unstable and Marginally stabled processes . The admissible sets of PID controller values are obtained by using the Hurwitz criterion principles.
