Abstract

The telecom services play a vital role in the health care industry. It is important for the customers to know about the types of telecom services that are available to them before doing and after or use currently they take the healthcare services. This paper discusses various telecom services, which are available for use currently, and the ones that are likely to make an impact in the future years. The factors such as comfort, personal attention and time saved by using these facilities are highlighted in this paper. The paper in particular focuses on the converged telecom network (EPABX system) to improve the patients care, staff productivity and operational efficiency.
