Abstract

This paper focuses on the analysis of energy saving through various lighting control techniques in- corporated in daylight artificial light integrated scheme of lighting. The present scenario emphasis on energy harvesting as high amount of light and energy are inevitably wasted. For the proposed work ,work space considered is Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) India. The present study presents the effectiveness and related issues as well as constraints of building automated control systems in Indian context .The simulations are carried out using MATLAB/SIMULINK based real time environment for the control of both temperature and light. The result obtained suggest about 20% to 40 % energy saving.
