Abstract

This paper we illustrate an H infinity frame work and explain how to design a robust controller graphically. The designed controller satisfying any combination of constraints on sensitivity, complementary sensitivity and input sensitivity transfer functions. This paper also correlates the concept of analytical solid geometry and the concept of control system theory. The method represents various sensitivity constraints in the controller parameter space and at each frequency, the set of permissible values is the intersection of the permissible regions defined by three conics. The designed controller satisfies both robust performance and robust stability. The controller obtained are of lower order than the conventional H infinity methods.
