Abstract

The controller design incorporating the phase and gain margin plays a vital role in process control industries. In this paper we are approaching the new concept of finding the infinity norm for the sensitivity and complementary function. The objective of using these two for the controller design helps to improve the controller stability with the performance of the system. The frequency criterion is defined as the weighted sum of squared errors between the specified and computed values of the design parameters.
