Cooperation in wireless communication networks has drawn big attention recently from many researchers. This is so because it can be effective in solving the performance limitations issue of wireless networks due to user mobility and the lack of network resources. But, in order to achieve this, new protocols were needed and indeed implemented at the different network layers. In this paper, we shed some light on some potential benefits of the well known as ANT routing protocol.
