Abstract
The pharmacy field comprises of industry and practice. The industry and practice interact in a dynamic manner and evolve in a system of trends which are unique to different countries across the globe. The pharmaceutical regulations for industry and practice are made in accordance with provision of a system which ensures safe, cost-effective medicines to the public. The regulations for industry and practice are inter-related and has influence on each other. The Drugs and Cosmetics Act of 1945 and Pharmacy Act, 1948 are the regulations for industry and practice. The dynamic evolution of the regulations of industry and practice are discussed in the article.
