Abstract
This paper focuses on how Earned Value (EV) and Earned Schedule (ES) is used for schedule analysis to monitor the progress and forecast important information in schedule; well before it is too late to make any corrective changes. Two case studies are adopted here. Using Earned Value, its monthly performance is computed along with project completion date is forecasted. The reliability of the two methods is compared using correlation analysis between the two case studies and it is seen that the dependency between the earned schedule variables between the two case studies are higher than that of the earned value ones.
