Abstract
In the advancement of theory and knowledge of KM, lots of models have been evolved and developed. These models developed by different researchers / authors are applicable in different contexts and situations in different organizations. In this regard, this paper tries to review three important and well researched models of KM, which have been developed, researched and applied in industries / organizations in the realm of three important core organizational resources namely people, processes and technologies and tries to evaluate its applicability in the educational context. Educational Institutions are into knowledge intensive activity and KM has become all the more important.
