Abstract

This paper discusses about the importance of Lean and Green manufacturing practices in printing industry. The use of lean and green printing strategies will help to reduce waste, reduce impact on environment, increase profitability and promote sustainability. Sustainability, profitability and social acceptance being one of the top priorities even in the national agenda of several countries, the paper addresses these issues in the context of printing industry.
