Abstract

Aim of practicing knowledge management in libraries is to promote learning and sharing of internally generated knowledge for overall progress of individuals as well as organization. Use of knowledge management requires holistic approach along with use of various tools and technologies. The ICT provides a pool of tools, technologies and services which are very useful for knowledge management. Some of the important ICT based tools which support knowledge generation; knowledge organization, knowledge dissemination and knowledge sharing have been discussed in this paper.
