Abstract
Institutional repository is a concept established a few years ago. It is a platform for the free access of institutional publications. Manipal University Digital Repository (MUDR) is an institutional Repository of Manipal University institutions. It hosts the research output of Manipal University in digital format. In this study, an attempt has been made to know the attitude of faculty members towards depositing their publications in the repository. It is found that most of the faculty members are aware about MUDR. Some faculty members are worried about the copyright issues. The availability of huge number of documents in a short period reveals the success of MUDR.
