Abstract
Sustainable technology works to advance the scientific understanding, development, and application of technologies to address a variety of areas related to sustainability with a motto–“The lamps are different, but the light is same". The aim of this presentation is to envision a sustainable development systematically by carrying out the systems analysis, environmental management, clean processes, green chemistry, and green engineering. This paper traces/presents the issues and choices related to Urban Transportation in India in the present arena, to relieve Pressure on our Planet effectively and efficiently through the Sustainable technology without damaging the Earth’s ecosystem. It also visualizes to locate appropriate gateways especially “Technology transfer” to satisfy the Human needs, which Light Up the World forever for the prospects of future generations.
