Abstract
A new zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) pulse width modulated (PWM) single-phase inverter using a simple ZVS-PWM commutation cell is presented in this paper. To achieve the required objective of interfacing solar panel to the grid we are using a solar cell to obtain a DC voltage which is fed to a DC-DC converter which boosts the obtained voltage. A PWM inverter is used to convert the obtained DC voltage to AC voltage. After which a LCL resonant circuit is used to reduce the THD and for reducing the switching losses ZVS technique is used after which the required AC voltage is fed to the load
