Echocardiogram, often referred to as a cardiac echo or simply an echo, is a sonogram of the heart. (It is not abbreviated as ECG, an abbreviation for an electrocardiogram.) Echocardiography uses standard two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and Doppler ultrasound to create images of the heart. Development in IT brings lot of changes in healthcare, as new developments there are increase in productivity and accuracy reducing time consumption. Recent development in web based applications increases the need of such systems in cardiology domain helping clinical personnel in improved workflow and provide better care of his/her patient. Instead of writing down notes on paper based upon the results of the patient’s echocardiogram test, echo reporting system allows technicians to simply input the data into web page and retrieve information from anywhere within the organization. System features the standardized template for reporting and patient reports can be imported in any format. Also collectively information can also be used for further research. The motivation is to make the doctors and clinicians work easier, have a systematic way of storing patients’ current and historical data and also to help cardiologist to retrieve the patients’ information which will be helpful for research purpose.
