‘Dabba Hub’ is an exciting new lunch Tiffin service that would cater to the growing need for homely tasty food by students residing in the buzzing township of Manipal. Manipal University being one of the largest and well know universities across India and the globe is a top choice for many students both domestic and international. As per the information available on the official Manipal university site as of today is the home to over 28,000 students. Out of this 28,000 around 80% are students who have relocated to Manipal from different states of India. Around 2100 of the total count are international students who are in Manipal as a part of exchange programmes or full time courses. Here at Dabba Hub we will be providing the students with a list of delicious homemade dish items which they can mix match to form their week’s lunch menu. The prepared food would then be delivered to the customers at the designated locations at the common lunch time. We at Dabba Hub believe that the market of Manipal can be broadly segmented into two categories. The students residing in hostels and the students are non-hostilities that are living in their own accommodations but not with family. The new venture requires a start-up funding of INR 5 lakhs which will be obtained through the application of a term loan. The term loan is expected to be paid over a period of 3 years. The loan would be split in into a working capital loan of 1 lakh and a term loan of 3 lakhs. There will a self - investment of 1 lakh
