Abstract

Present paper describes the synthesis and characterization of novel metal (II) 1,8,15,22- tetraimino substituted phthalocyanines (M-fmPc) of copper/H) ,cobalt (II), nickel (II) and zinc(II) by condensing the 1,8,15,22-tetra aminophth alocyanin es with benzaldehyde. The dark bluish green colored tetraimino substituted phthalocvanine derivatives are characterized by various physico-chemical techniques like elemental analysis, electronic, fR, magnetic susceptibility, powder X-ray diffraction and thermo gravimetic analysis (TGA) to check the structural integrity and purify. The variations of magnetic moment as a function offield strength indicated the presence of infer tnolecular co-operative interactions. Aforesaid complexes are also evaluated for their anthelmintic and antifungal activities.
