In recent years, conventional light bulbs have been replaced by LED light sources due to their high levels of luminous efficiency, compactness, low heat dissipation, real-time color changing capability and dimming function with longer life span. This paper presents a comparative analysis of different DC-DC converter to select an appropriate topology for constant current power supply for an LED luminaire. The SEPIC converter is proposed for practical driver. The SEPIC converter selected was designed for output voltage of 120V and maximum current of 2A. The topology selection is done between buck, boost, buck-boost, Cuk and SEPIC converter on the basis of efficiency, voltage stress and current stress. Then, simulation of the SEPIC converter is done to see the feasibility of the proposed driver
