Abstract
With rising number of young cancer survivors, fertility preservation has become a much discussed topic. Embryo cryopreservation is currently the most established method for fertility preservation in females although ovarian tissue cryopreservation is slowly making progress. This review looks at the challenges faced in controlled ovarian stimulation of this group of women. It also explores the advances made in these stimulation protocols so as to reduce the time to oocyte retrieval without compromising the quality of yield.
