RFID based security and tracking applications are one of the growing trends, integrating in all the sectors of modern day industries. High-end applications are proved to be more secure via the RFID system, than the traditional mechanical lock and key system because of the difficulties in duplication of the key in case of RFID systems. The focus of this paper will be on Passive RFID technology for two-wheeler vehicles in the automotive sector. Hardware implementation of a security module using RFID for motorcycles is shown.
