Abstract

Databases, an essential component of everyday life in the modern society is nothing but set of records that have values for predefined attributes. This work compares the structured and unstructured databases in terms of performance. The performance in terms of time is examined to retrieve the data from the databases to build a data mining model. The results justify that unstructured database perform better than structured database for both system and user time
