Abstract

Current research on gas sensing is focused on developing specifi cally selective materials andsystems for applications ranging from diagnostics, quality control to defense. a frontrunner in devisabletechnology is are pizeoresistive cantilevers. In this review is presented the commonly accepted designprocedures, characterization and issues associated with encapsulated pizeoresistive antilevers as affi nity sensors
