Abstract

Synthesis of and characterization of the drug loaded PLGA nanoparticles, inserted with PLA- PEG diblock copolymer with FA as the targeting moiety, using Interfacial Activity Assisted Surface Functionalization technique (IAASF) . Study the In vitro release of the drug from the nanoparticles. To make fluorescent molecule encapsulated nanoparticles, with and without the targeting moiety on the surface, and track the nanoparticles uptake in the cells. In vitro evaluation of the therapeutic efficacy of drug loaded nanoparticles compared to the free drug, on microglial cell lines like BV-2.
