Abstract
This paper proposes a technique for identifying the safe evacuation path for the people occupied inside an infrastructure where fire accident has occurred. The objective of the proposed work is to indicate the path for the people to move out of the building which consists of multiple exit paths, based on the direction of fire spread and density of people approaching a particular exit. This process optimizes the time required for the people to move out of the building where fire accident has occurred to the safe point outside the infrastructure. A set of sensors are used across the building at multiple positions based on the severity of fire, volume of fire, and rate of fire spread. Output of all sensors is fused together with the help of Pau’s framework. Designed system is tested with simulation data for evaluating the performance, results show successful implementation of proposed work
