Abstract
Advancements in digital communication and networking have posed serious threats to secure data transmission. Steganography is one of the methods used for secret communication. It is a means of furtive transmission which hides the existence of the secret information. The carrier such as an image, an audio, or a video is used to hide the secret information. Audio files are common and existing abundantly. One of the properties being excessively used for concealing the secret information in audio files is that they have large space. In audio steganography, the carrier is an audio and the secret information can be a text file, an image, or an audio
